Receiving reflexology from the one & only Krissy Conley. This is my view.
A documentary by Jeremy Gosch that was featured a while back on Nowness to celebrate the 2009 Surfing America USA Championships. I can’t take my eyes off this video.
I did some surfing this summer & there is something inherently hypnotic about the sport to begin with. Whether it engaged the part of my brain that reasons that the minute you give up & go in is the minute your wave rolls in, or the part of all of us that burns to engage with an element that we matter little or nothing to just to say we’ve felt it, there’s something that always keeps me out there much longer than my screaming & aching body wants to.

The immensely talented Laura Bellmont has a collaboration with Irregular Choice’s shoe line. It should be very exciting. Laura’s work will be featured in their Spring/Summer 09 campaign. Their website has yet to launch with the new stuff, but their splash page right now is also c/o Ms. Bellmont.
It’s a takeover.

A great show called Cardboard & Found by Martina Fugazzotto is up at Charming Wall Gallery. The show will be up until April 29th. Please stop by if you’re in the neighborhood, or even if you aren’t. The paintings are both intimate and playfully ambiguous. Worth the stop!
Charming Wall also has other prints by Martina for sale in the store and online. You can buy them as is or have them matted or framed. And it’s all very affordable! Perfect gift!
A very special preview of the Lindsey Thornburg forthcoming 09 look book shot by Olivia Malone.
I can tell you, this shoot is more than a look book. Very magical. There are some truly mesmerizing images. The team was really working on all cylinders.

A new shoot for Working Class Magazine by Jacqueline Di Milia. These great images accompanied a story on the Brooklyn based lingerie company Lakes and Stars. Trés séduisant!
A video from the look book shoot for Samantha Pleet Fall 09. The book was shot by Jacqueline Di Milia and ought to be out soon. This editing was handled by none other than Jonathan Dortch.
I think it really came together so well. Definitely captures the romantic quality of the clothes. I’m very excited to see the look book.
